5 Months Old
Lola & Jack are 5 months old now. Lola is weighing in at a big 15lbs, 11 oz and Jack at a whopping 17lbs. They both love their exersaucers and love playing side by side. They smile very readily and giggle at surprises like peekaboo. They both roll - Lola from stomach to back and Jack from back to stomach. They seem happy enough to not try the other way. We started them both on cereal today. Jack loves it and is very eager to use the spoon; Lola isn't very into it yet but, she likes to spit it out and rub it all over her face. Cereal time is quite messy. They are such hams and love to make you laugh. They have a new infatuation with the dogs now. When the dogs wrestle and play, the kids just stare and laugh at them. Marvin loves to bring toys to the kids in their exersaucers and then gives them kisses all over. Lola pushes him away but Jack just opens his mouth and closes his eyes - it's so funny to watch.

Savannah!
We took our first trip away from the babies the first weekend in October for Skinner's wedding! We had a wonderful time in Savannah seeing all the guys and girls - especially Wyatt's belly! We had a great time and enjoyed sleeping in. The highlight of the weekend was by far the wedding band. Doug Clark's Hot Nuts were unbelievable as usual and it was awesome to see them in action again.

Lola Rolls!
Lola officially rolled over from her tummy to her back twice yesterday. It startled her a bit to be able to do it; she was very proud and laughed once she made it over.

We're 4 months old!!
Lola & Jack turned 4 months old yesterday! They had their 4 month check up today and here's their new stats: Lola weighs 13lbs, 7oz (50th percentile), 24" long (40%) and her head is in the 50th percentile. Jack weighs 15lbs, 11oz (70%), 25.5" long (75%) and his big noggin' is in the 90% (no surprise there). They are both doing wonderfully, very healthy and getting bigger every day.
Jack has officially rolled over once, he mostly rolls to his side and stays there a while. Lola does a side roll and stops too but, we feel the full roll is coming any day now. They are sleeping well at night but, those daytime naps seem to be just opposite of each other so I rarely get any true down-time.
Jack found his tongue last week so it's a new game to stick it out and say "eh, eh, eh" over and over. Unfortunately, this mostly happens when he's eating. Lola is finding new sounds every day and enjoys laughing when she hears new things. They are both so cute and smile all the time.

2 Month Check-up and Smiles!
Lola & Jack had their 2 month checkup on the 8th and they are very healthy. Lola weighs 9 lbs, 11 oz and Jack weighs 11 lbs, 15.5 oz (12 lbs). They had their shots so we had a long night that night. They are getting so big and they smile so much now. All Jack has to do is hear Jeff's voice and he gets the biggest grin! Lola has just started looking at us and smiling now. Her eyes just sparkle when she smiles! Check out our smiling pics.

34 Weeks and Counting
Well, I turned 30 last week and Jeff hits the big 3-0 today so we are officially old. Yes, those 9 days between our birthdays are the happiest of Jeff's year; you can't imagine all the old jokes and references I've received over the past week.
The babies are moving like nobody's business and I guess the countdown is offically on. We've made it to the 34 week mark, thank goodness, so, that really improves our health chances all around. We'll see if we can't keep them in there for a few more weeks. We have another ultrasound Friday so we'll see if Baby A is still breech and then how big they are now. My personal guess is about 8 lbs. each but, maybe that's just how it feels.
The dogs are sensing something big is coming but, man, they have no idea. Marvin loves hanging out in the nursery and Ella still likes checking most stuff out from afar or in her own time.
I'll add more this weekend once we know a little more about the babies.
